Psalm 62:5

Find rest, O my soul, in God alone; my hope comes from him.

Hope is something that is very important to people. It's essentially what we chase down in life...and how disappointed we are when things don't work out the way we want them to.We hope for relationships, we hope for money, we hope for popularity, we hope for acceptance. All these things change like the seasons, and if they are where our hope is grounded, we are set up for disappointment.

God, however, never changes. That's why we can rest in him when we fully trust him with our hope, our future, and our dreams. He will always take care of us, always love us, and never leave us. We can trust him with our lives, knowing that he looks out for our best interest. This doesn't mean we always get what we want-it means we will always get what is good for us. Sometimes "good" is disappointing. Sometimes "good" is painful. But during those times, if we lean on God, we can experience incredible growth and peace...and if your hope is in that, you will never be let down.
